Educational Background
I attended the University of Wisconsin Madison where I received a degree in Elementary Education (grades 1-8) with a minor in Vocal Music. I also attended Viterbo University where I received my Early Childhood (birth to grade 3) licensure.

I grew up on a farm outside of Sauk Prairie, Wisconsin. I have 6 brothers and sisters most of which still live in the area. Our family also owned a fleet of school busses, so summers were spent bailing hay and cleaning bus windows. I moved to La Crosse in 2005 and began teaching for Aquinas Schools in 2015. I enjoy singing, flower gardening, the Badgers, collecting Angels and antiques, and spending time with my family.

MY CLASSROOM
In Music Class we do a variety of activities. We start with movement songs and learn about notes and rests, and how to play a variety of percussion instruments. We prepare songs for Mass and our Christmas and Spring Concerts. We also do songs that are related to the curriculum in the regular classroom settings.
