THE AQUINAS FUND
Donate Today
Our 2021-22 annual appeal, The Aquinas Fund, is underway. Please return the charitable giving form (pdf) or you may make a gift online. Please consider making your gift by our June 30th fiscal year end. Thank you for helping us 'Hit the Mark' with this year's Aquinas Fund.
Aquinas Families, Alumni, Business Community, & Friends,
During this season of Thanksgiving, I am reminded of just how much we have to be grateful for, and the many accomplishments of the past year that we are able to celebrate. The past eighteen months have presented many obstacles
for our students and staff, but their resilience, paired with the generosity and support of the Aquinas family, inspires continued hope and confidence in the future of our great schools.
Perhaps our greatest achievement was simply that we have been here for students and families, open in the safest way possible, for in-person instruction for the entire school year. For the 2021-22 academic year, we opened our doors to our largest enrollment since 2003. Through your generosity, strong enrollment, and support from our supporting parishes we continue to be fiscally strong. As a result, Aquinas Catholic Schools (ACS) has invested $3 million over the past 5 years to address building needs like roofing replacements, HVAC system upgrades, security enhancements, and more. Earlier this fall, ACS announced a new partnership with Viterbo University that, among other things, will see Aquinas students taking courses for college credit, joining academic pathways that could result in early graduation from Viterbo, and receiving guaranteed acceptance into Viterbo’s most competitive programs. Successes like these are only possible through our shared passion and support.
As this school year unfolds, our students continue to thrive. Our dedicated teachers continue to engage and challenge them in new ways. Each school community gathers to celebrate weekly Mass and participates in service opportunities that benefit their neighbors locally and beyond. Our Blugolds are having success using their God-given gifts academically, artistically, musically, and athletically. We are grateful that our students have these opportunities to learn and grow surrounded by encouragement and support.
Your support plays a crucial role in our ability to provide an award-winning, Christ-centered education that is affordable and accessible to all families who desire it. We ask that you consider making a meaningful gift to the Aquinas Fund that will make this a reality, while providing our teachers with needed resources to help our students excel. By making a commitment during the
2021-22 school year, you are impacting the lives of our next generation of
faith-filled leaders. Thank you for keeping Aquinas Catholic Schools in your prayers and for your generous support of Catholic education and the Aquinas experience.
Gratefully,
Ted Knutson '80 Mark Ritter '77

What is the Aquinas Fund?
The Aquinas Fund is the annual fundraising effort of Aquinas Catholic Schools to support the immediate needs of our schools. Like most parochial schools, tuition and parish support only cover a portion of the overall cost of educating each student who benefits from an exceptional learning experience. Your annual unrestricted gift to the Aquinas Fund goes to work immediately to enhance the classroom experience for students and staff at all five Aquinas Catholic Schools buildings.
Case For Support
-
The Aquinas Fund accelerates the overall excellence of Aquinas Catholic Schools by providing funding in support of the annual operating needs of our school system. Think of the Aquinas Fund like the checking account that provides for the needs of our students and staff.
-
Aquinas Catholic Schools project 2021-22 annual expenditures exceeding $8.5 Million, or about $9000 per child on average. Tuition alone covers only 52% of that cost.
-
For the current year, more than 40% of ACS students will receive some level of tuition aid.
-
Donations to the Aquinas Fund help to bridge the gap between the actual cost to educate a student and the income received through tuition and parish support.

The Aquinas Fund, our annual campaign, will begin each fall with outreach to the local business community seeking their support of operations at ACS. The strength of our business community is paired with the wide reach and generosity of our alumni, current and past parents, private foundations, and friends of Aquinas to provide for the needs of our students and staff. We would like to thank these members of the Blugold Business Network for their faithful support of the annual Aquinas Fund:
