As an active member of Mary, Mother of the Church here in La Crosse, I see the positive benefits of Aquinas students, families and educators serving together in our parishes and community. After six years teaching preschool, my volunteer work with the Catholic Charities Center for Refugee Services in San Antonio, Texas ignited my desire to earn my certification as a middle school educator.

Since relocating to La Crosse in 2021, I became a member of Norsekedalen Nature and Heritage Center, Friends of the Marsh, Minnesota Marine Art Museum, and the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators. I have enjoyed exploring this region through planning trips for both my students and members of my family.
