I am originally from southwestern Minnesota and grew up attending Catholic school. I have a Bachelor's in Communication from the College of Saint Benedict/Saint John’s University. I also have a Master’s in Library and Information Science from Saint Catherine’s University. I spent 15 years working in public libraries, focusing on early literacy and technology. However, I always wanted to shift to working in a school setting and I feel blessed to finally be doing so. During my free time, I enjoy reading children’s literature and spending the summers on the water with my family.
