I grew up in the small town of West Union, Iowa. I graduated from North Fayette High School, from there I attended Kirkwood Community College for 2 years and University of Northern Iowa for my last 2 years. I majored in Physical Education with a minor in Health Education. I love sports and being active. In my free time I like to golf, sing and play guitar, and hang out with family and friends. I love being around kids and teaching them new activities and skills they might use for the rest of their life.

I have 2 years as Special Education Paraprofessional at Onalaska High School, and am in my 3rd year of HS PE at Aquinas.

MY CLASSROOM

Physical education is a class where students will develop overall personal fitness by exercising, developing skills, gaining knowledge, skills, and strategies about activities they will participate in. This will be accomplished by participating in different exercises and team sports/activities that we will be learning throughout the year. Students will learn the importance of exercise and how it relates to a healthy lifestyle. Through this development of knowledge in lifetime sports, students will be encouraged to be active their whole life and know why that is important to their overall health.
