After high school I attended Southeastern Community College in West Burlington Iowa. From there, I transferred to the University of Northern Iowa (UNI). I became involved in student government, an honors society, and a campus ministry. It was at UNI that I began my journey in discovering the catholic church during my senior year. I became catholic during my student teaching time and still love listening to podcasts and reading books to continue learning about the catholic faith. I also love reading fictional books, hiking, spending time with family and friends, traveling to state parks, and most things that get me outside! I recently got married in May 2022. My husband and I look forward to spending more time in La Crosse! We love the community we have found here and have become parishioners of the Cathedral parish.
