Hola! My love for the Spanish language began when I started studying Spanish in middle school. I continued studying Spanish throughout high school and college. I decided to study abroad one semester in Seville, Spain my sophomore year of college. It was one of the best experiences of my life! After I graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison I found a job teaching English in Madrid, Spain. I spent a year there and decided that I loved teaching! I completed my post-baccalaureate in Spanish education ( K-12) at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. I am married to Yan Arsenault( He is from Quebec, Canada and his first language is French). We have 3 children: Lauren ( 17), Matt(15),  and Kate (13). Outside of work you will find me at one of my kid’s sporting events such as Lauren’s track, Matt’s skiing or tennis tournaments or Kate’s volleyball or track. In my free time I enjoy jogging, walking our yellow lab, Colby, and volunteering at Clearwater Farm.
