College of St. Catherine's- Associates Degree an Occupational Therapy Assistant University Wisconsin- La Crosse- Bachelors of Science in Education w/ a Minor in English
I have 13 years of teaching experience. I have taught 6th grade Science, ELA, and Humanities in Zionsville, IN for 12 years. In addition, I taught 6th grade ELA and 7th grade Journalism for 1 year in Jacksonville, FL. I was also a long-term substitute teacher for ACS at Blessed Sacrament for 1 year.
In addition to my educational background, I also have extensive experience with Technology. I was honored to be one of the lead pilot teachers to start a 1:1 laptop program in Zionsville, IN. When our family decided to move to Florida, I continued my teaching career as well as beginning a 1:1 laptop program for a new school in Jacksonville, FL, too. I am married to my husband Mark, and we have two wonderful kids. Our daughter Izzy attends Blessed Sacrament School and our son Max attends Cathedral. My husband Mark and I are both Aquinas Alumni and are very excited and blessed to have the chance for our kids to follow in our footsteps. We are members of Blessed Sacrament Parish and are thankful we can raise our children in a great Catholic school system. In my spare time, I love spending time with family and friends, cooking, walking, watching our kid's sporting events, and traveling.
I am very excited to start a new position with ACS as Blessed Sacrament School's Administrative Assistant. I feel honored to have the opportunity to be part of the Aquinas family again and to be back in our hometown. I am looking forward to the new adventures ahead of me.
