Tailgate Party at Aquinas tonight 5:30-6:15 before the football game! Pick up your yearbook.

Congratulations to the soccer team on their shut-out win over West Salem last night. Shane Hannah scored two goals. Correction on the Sparta game on Tuesday…Chris Paulino scored three goals in that win. Pat Vandenburg shut out the Panthers as goalie.
The tennis team lost a close match to Logan.
Please turn in all handbook forms.
Tonight the yearbook will sponsor a tailgate party here at Aquinas from 5:00-6:15 before the football game. You may pick up your yearbook at this time. There will be a dance following the football game with Central. Cost for dance is 3:00 unless you have an activity pass. Everyone must pay.

The football team will play Central at 7:00 at UWL. It is Central’s home game.
The soccer team will be at Richland Center tonight and will be excused at 1:45.
The soccer team will be gone part of the day today to help set up for “Stepping Out in Pink.”
Tomorrow the cross country teams will be at the Onalaska Invitational at 3:30 at the Rider’s Club Complex.
Saint Mary's PACC registration forms and checks are due to Ms. Kussmaul by Monday, Sept 13, 3:05pm. Please make sure instructors have signed the back of the form and checks attached.
Today is a dress down day for yearbook. Please bring your dollar donation to first period. Instructors should send anyone to the office that is wearing anything inappropriate or immodest. A reminder to students, the t-shirt “I Was Recruited” is not acceptable at school or Aquinas functions. If you are wearing one, please turn it inside out today or change.
ACT Test is tomorrow at Aquinas. Get some rest and eat a good breakfast!

Special thanks to Ms Kussmaul for setting up College Night last night for our students and parents. We wish to thank all the students and parents who attended this important event. It was a great success.
In golf yesterday, Samantha Thaldorf was medalist for the Blugolds at Forest Hills.
The tennis team will host Logan at 4:30 today at UWL.
The soccer team will host West Salem at 7:00. The Blugold Soccer team will be wearing their team jerseys today.

COLLEGE NIGHT IN REINHART GYM TONIGHT
6:30-8:00
Congratulations to the soccer team on their win over Sparta. Evan Pederson scored 3 goals.
The tennis team shut out Holmen.
The volleyball team lost to Sparta.
Good luck to the golf team as they will be excused today at 1:15 for their match at Forest Hills.
The tennis team plays Central next Wednesday for their make up match.
Aquinas High School College Night will be tonight from 6:30-8:00pm in the Reinhart Gym Complex. Over 40 college representatives will be present to hand out information and answer questions. Military representatives will be available to speak with. All Aquinas High School students and parents are invited and encouraged to attend. This is a great way to make contacts for college applications.
Today we will have mass between first and second period…please wait to be called to the theater for mass. All classes will meet today. A reminder on mass days, students should not wear shorts.
If you forgot today make sure next week you don’t wear them.

Congratulations to the volleyball team who took second at the Aquinas Invitational Saturday.
The girls cross country team won first place at the Verona Invitational. Maddy Haupert took second, Stephanie Doyle took 9th
The boys took second place as a team and Patrick Campbell was third and Michael Christianson was fourth.
The football team lost a close game to Pacelli.
The soccer team defeated Winona Cotter Friday.

The following cross country runners were named runners of the week.
Molly Malone-celebrated her 16th birthday by lowering her course best by 2 minutes (18:41 vs. 20:41).
Michael Christianson-lowered his course best by 1 minute and 43 seconds (17:22 vs. 19:05) while running his fastest 5k ever (previous best: 17:47). Michael’s time earned him a 24th place finish in a field of 171.
